That’s right!! Turtleback Trailers and the Herd of Turtles are planning an EPIC adventure to Death Valley in March/April 2017 and you are invited to join us. High clearance vehicles only.
It’s the hottest, driest and lowest national park in the US, a true land of extremes yet, despite it’s morbid name, a great diversity of life survive in Death Valley.
Proposed dates for the trip are March 31 – April 4 but will be confirmed in January 2017. Places are limited so you must RSVP below. There will be a cost of $50 per vehicle (to be paid in March 2017) as we will need a permit to take a large group into the park.
The itinerary has not yet been finalized but will be available early next year. If you can’t make it for the entire duration there will be opportunity to meet up or depart early from the group. Some points of interest of Death Valley that we may visit include:
– The Racetrack (The Grandstand and Moving Rocks)
– Tea Kettle Junction
– Badwater Basin (279 ft below sea level)
– Saline Springs (hot water springs)
– Titus Canyon
– Lost Burro Mine
Again, this event is for present Turtleback Trailer owners or for those who are considering becoming part of the “Herd” and Turtleback Trailers now offers trailer rental. See our website www.turtlebackrentals.com for more details.
