Our goal is to produce a high quality unit that didn’t break the bank. That being said, all of our trailers are designed with functionality as the target. All of the work is documented in CAD drawings. Then built by craftsman.
Our custom steel parts are designed on the computer then crafted on CNC equipment. The parts are either CNC laser cut or turret punched then bent on CNC brakes and formed. This process insures that our trailers are built right every time to our exacting specifications. Our frames are built in house on a jig not leaving the dimensions or quality up to a tape measure. This attention to detail produces a safe, sturdy and light weight trailer that will give decades of good service.
The chassis are then etched, primed and coated with a rubberized bed-liner material to inhibit corrosion and be durable on the trail or highway. When completed the chassis wrapped in 0.050 aluminum that is paint clad and powder coated and can be coated in custom colors or wrapped with 3M vehicle wrap material for designs.
In out kitchens our custom cabinet shop offers custom home quality cabinetry for the road. This just isn’t for looks, this quality of construction has held up to hundreds and hundreds of off road miles, again, built to offer decades of trouble free use.
When you look at our Turtleback Trailers you will see that thousands of hours of R&D and design work. These little expedition trailers we believe are the best built available along with offering the most amenities for the buck.
